Our course lies in the Nieper Kuhlen, one of the most charming landscapes on the left Lower Rhine. The holes nestle into their surroundings instead of dominating them: water hazards formed by natural ditches and ponds, rough of native grasses, herons and waterfowl in between. Biodiversity is not a marketing word here – it is everyday life on the round.
In sporting terms, the 27 holes offer the right challenge for every level: fair holes for beginners, tricky tasks for low handicaps – and enough variety that no round feels like the last.
Location: surprisingly close
The best part about the idyll: it is not at the end of the world. Golfclub Niep is just minutes from the A40 – about 10 minutes from Moers, around 20 from Krefeld and Duisburg, and worth the short trip from Düsseldorf or the Ruhr area too. After-work round? Common practice here.
