Green Fee at Golfclub Niep: Playing as a Guest
How easy it is to play our 27 holes as a guest.
You have your course permit but no home club (yet)? Or you are a member elsewhere and fancy new fairways? Then the green fee is your ticket: as a guest you play our 27 holes in the green – and booking takes less than two minutes.
What is a green fee – in short
The green fee is the day rate for guests: pay once, enjoy the round. It keeps golf wonderfully flexible – no commitment, play when and where you want. For occasional players it is often the most economical option; regular players eventually do better with a membership (more below).
Booking a tee time: online in three clicks
At Golfclub Niep you book your tee time conveniently online via GolfNow – the button is at the top of our website. Pick a date, choose a time, done. Our office is happy to help by phone at +49 2845 794661. On weekends it pays to book a few days ahead; on weekdays you often get a lovely tee time spontaneously.
What to bring as a guest
Course permit or club ID: as on almost all courses, you need a playing permission – the German Platzreife or your home club ID.
Equipment: your own clubs if you have them. If not: talk to us about rentals.
Time: plan around four hours for 18 holes – plus a buffer for the 19th hole, our clubhouse terrace.
What awaits you on the course
Our 27 holes lie in a nature and water conservation area in the Nieper Kuhlen: water hazards, reed zones, old trees – and a calm you would not expect this close to Moers, Krefeld and Duisburg (A40 in 5 minutes). The holes are fair for mid handicaps and have enough teeth for ambitious players. Many guests say the same sentence after their first round: „Why wasn’t I here earlier?“
Green fee vs. membership: the honest maths
Rule of thumb: a few rounds a year – green fee wins. From about one or two rounds a month, membership becomes interesting – not just financially but for everything around it: unlimited playing rights, tournaments, training, club life. If you get hooked after a few guest rounds, we will happily show you the options.
No course permit yet? No problem
Then your journey starts one step earlier – at the trial course. With a pro and rental equipment you find out whether golf is your sport, and we accompany you to the permit. The green fee rounds follow naturally.
