Ladies Golf Red-White Tournament: High Spirits Despite the Rain
Sparkling wine reception, a 9-hole scramble in the rain gap and dancing to finish – the ladies' Red-White Tournament defied the weather.
This year’s Red-White Tournament of the ladies at Golfclub Niep proved that rain cannot spoil a great day of golf. Due to the weather, the tournament could not start as planned. The waiting time, however, was put to perfect use: with a sparkling wine reception, coffee and delicious strawberry cake – all matching the red-white theme – the participants enjoyed each other’s company and kept their spirits high.
On arrival, every lady received a lovingly assembled tee-off gift. The high-quality cosmetics in particular caused great delight and made for a wonderful start to the tournament day.

As soon as the rain eased and a dry window appeared, the round began without further delay. The ladies used the gap perfectly and played a 9-hole scramble with plenty of fun and team spirit.
Right after all players returned to the clubhouse, the rain set in again. Now the cosy part of the day began: over currywurst, fries and cool drinks, the experiences of the round were exchanged and the good mood carried on seamlessly.

At the award ceremony, the successful teams took centre stage. The winners were delighted with their placings, beamed as they received their prizes and were duly celebrated by the assembled ladies.

A DJ provided the atmospheric finale, and the dance floor was conquered in no time. The Red-White Tournament will be remembered as a day full of conviviality, sporting joy and lovely encounters – true to the motto: together, golf is fun in any weather.
